Vulture's Knob has been a staple of Ohio mountain biking for over twenty years now. For many Ohio cyclists, Vulture's Knob could have been a first mountain bike race or even their first 24 hour race. Vulture's Knob also has the distinct pleasure of being too hardcore for the Papa of mountain biking himself, Mr. Gary Fisher. Word is the defeat was too much for him and led to the invention of the 29er.
